Summer Break?

Despite the awesomeness of Les Savy Fav's performance on the boat, this one by Josh of The Smoking Popes might be my favorite of the Summer Break series. It also reminds me how great of a lyricist the Moz is...

"...Shyness is nice and, shyness can stop you, from doing all the things in life you'd like to. So if there's something you'd like to try, ask me I won't say now, how could I..."

"Ask" - Josh Caterer

By the way - it's NOT summer break, we play next Tuesday at Pancho's!

Tue. Jul. 19 - 8:00 pm - 18+ - BUY TICKETS HERE!
HORACE PINKER - mp3
Horace Pinker has played in more than 21 countries all over the world from Europe, Brazil, China and Australia. They have played some of the biggest festivals, including the Dynamo Open Air in the Netherlands, Popkomm in Germany, Belgium’s Groezrock and the 2007 Vans ZonaPunk Tour in Brazil. They continue to defy the trends and release records with thoughtful lyrics and powerful music that cannot be pinned down to a simple category or genre.
ASPIGA
Aspiga is from Collingswood, NJ and formed in 2006. Influences are Osker, Jawbreaker, Hanalei, Fingers Cut Mega-Machine, Lawrence Arms, and Desaparecidos.
THE HEAT - mp3
Punk rock dudes influenced by Hot Water Music, Alkaline Trio, and Nothington. Often mistaken for the Village People on casual Fridays.
BULLY IN THE HALLWAY - mp3
For fans of bands like Fugazi, Fifteen, Avail and The Ghost, Bully in the Hallway is a great new addition the Chicago punk rock scene. With these bands as their influences, Bully in the Hallway combines great lyrics, fierce riffs, and an uncontainable stage presence.
WEREPIRE DAY
'90's-leaning fuzz anthems, small but loud. Think GBV, Jawbreaker, Dino Jr, Superchunk, Sloan, etc. Sometimes a full band, tonight one man.
